From the moment I could first read “Dick and Jane”, books have been an ongoing intimate element in my life, as they are for my daughter. She loves to organize her book collection in visual eye catching patterns by grouping the color of the spines together, which inspired me in recreating this image of my young cousin and her boyfriend. Since the first hand written manuscript centuries ago, what lies on the pages between each cover continues to connect humans in unfathomable ways.
